Subjects:

Properties of QCD phase transitions: recent results from lattice QCD, instantons and monopoles, chiral phase transition, random matrix theory, chiral vs deconfinement phase transition, . . . - Hadrons in matter and chiral restoration: . . . - Electromagnetic observables: dilepton continuum at low masses, anomaly in J/Psi production, . . . - Hadronic observables: hadronic signals, multi-strange signals, dynamics of compression and expansion, time delay and flow signatures of phase transition, Hanbury-Brown-Twiss correlations, parton cascades and propagation, . . . - Transport theories with unstable particles: new theoretical developments and realizations in simulation codes, . . .

Scope of Meeting:

The aim is to gather experimentalists and theoreticians investigating the properties and signatures of the chiral and deconfinement phase transitions of QCD. The number of participants is limited to 60. Sessions will be organized from 9 to 12 h in the morning and from 17 to 19 h in the afternoon. The program will be composed of the invited talks and selected contributions. Proceedings with accounts of the invited talks and all contributions are scheduled for March 1997.
