STRUCTURE OF HADRONS
International Workshop XXIX on Gross Properties of Nuclei and Nuclear Excitations

As a continuation of the Hirschegg discussion meetings we announce Workshop
XXIX to be held from January 14 to 20, 2001 at the Waldemar-Petersen-Haus
in Hirschegg.
We intend to gather experimentalists and theorists interested in Structure
of Hadrons.
Recent progress in the following fields will be discussed:

non-perturbative QCD
-
structure of mesons, baryons, glueballs and hybrids
-
elementary hadronic reactions and resonances
-
physics with strange and charmed quarks
-
multi-strange and charmed nuclei
K. Kilian (Jülich), H. Koch (Bochum), V. Metag (Giessen), B. Povh
(Heidelberg) and W. Weise (München) have agreed to advise us
in setting up the program which will be composed of invited talks and contributions
by the participants.
The second circular is scheduled for the end of August and will
contain additional details, including the list of invited speakers and
the application and registration form via the World Wide Web. The deadline
for applications and contributions will be October 31, 2000.
We hope that the informal character of the meeting and the relaxed atmosphere
at the Waldemar-Petersen-Haus will stimulate intensive and fruitful discussions.
