Analysis Suite for SMASH-1.7

Midrapidity Yield

Particle yields at midrapidity for π, K, P, Λ, Ξ and Ω multiplets as a function of center-of-mass energy in pp and AuAu/PbPb collisions.

Note: Kink in the region of √sNN ≈ 3 - 5 GeV is due to uncertainties in the transition from resonances to strings.
Note: Σ0 contribution is added to Λ in AuAu and PbPb collisions. This was not the case for the SMASH-1.6 results.
Note: Deviations for collision energies between 3 and 5 GeV are expected, as the transition region from resonances to strings was modified between SMASH-1.6 (√sNN = 4 - 5 GeV) and SMASH-1.7 (√sNN = 3.5 - 4.5 GeV).
