Advisors:- Anton Andronic (Münster)
- Francesco Becattini (Florence)
- Ulrich Heinz (OSU, Columbus)
- Frithjof Karsch (Bielefeld)
- Nu Xu (LBL, Berkeley)
Scope of the meeting
The central theme will be how energy-dense QCD matter transitions into hadrons as it expands. Some specific topics we envision are:
- Understanding statistical hadronization and its limitations
- Hydrodynamics
- How to do freeze-out from a hydro simulation
- Vorticity and polarization observables
- HBT radii and their interpretation
- Thermodynamic transition between Hadron Resonance Gas and Quark-Gluon Plasma
Organizational information
The number of participants is limited to about 70. Sessions will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The program will consist of invited talks and selected contributions.
Limited funds for the support of young participants are available.
We charge a workshop fee of 150 €.
The workshop takes place at the Darmstädter Haus. Please note important travel information. Current weather conditions can be viewed at the webcam of Hotel Birkenhöhe.
If you have any requests or suggestions please contact the conference secretary via e-mail: Gabriela Menge.
